Our "WHY"

At The A-team, we love to help our customers maximize the money they get back on a loan. We are not only passionate about our work but also about making a positive difference in the world. We believe in the concept of "giving back," and when it comes to our local communities, we LOVE giving back to the people who have helped us grow. Whether donating money, volunteering time, or raising awareness, we always find ways to support the causes that matter to us. Kindness, generosity, impact, and learning are several values that we work very hard to uphold. We are a team that works hard, has fun, and tries to make a difference in our lives and yours. We are The A Team Mortgage.

Giving Back to the Tucson Community- Christmas 2022

In December of 2022, The A-Team donated 7,500 dollars to the Tucson Midtown Police Department, supporting their work to help local families going through financial struggles. Each year, Midtown Police donates money to these families in the form of Christmas toys and monetary donations. The A-Team helped to support these efforts with their donation, but the team additionally chose to sponsor a family going through financial hardship. We donated $5,000 to help them celebrate the holidays with those they love. As part of one more charity push, The A-Team chose to take to the streets with the Midtown department to give out cash to those who may have needed a little boost during the holiday season. The post on the left shows some of the work we did on the street, with our founder, Frank Apodaca, leading the charge in his festive Christmas attire.

City of Tucson Back to School Bash - July 2023

Every summer, the City of Tucson hosts various Back-To-School events to help families prepare their children for the upcoming school year. With the help of donors in the community and beyond, the City can offer various services such as haircuts, food, stuffed backpacks with school supplies, library resources, and so much more to the community completely free of charge. Frank Apodaca, our founder, was born and raised in Tucson, so giving money back to the city he continues to be a part of is meaningful and essential to our team!

The flyer is from the most recent event that The A Team was happy to donate to! This year, we donated to the 29th Street Back-To-School Bash at Freedom Park in Tucson, Arizona, on July 22nd, 2023. The event was a rousing success, with hundreds of people bringing their families and friends to get supplies for their upcoming year, resources for parents to help get their child ready to go for their first days of class, and of course, to enjoy one of the last days of summer fun. Tucson Police Midtown Division thanked Frank for his support, and we are proud to contribute to our communities!

Wright Flight - September 2023

Wright Flight Tucson is a Tucson-based aviation program designed to help children struggling with low achievement scores, substance abuse, and school discipline. The program uses the aviation industry to help students understand the importance of schooling and how that relates into the operation of an airplane. Students learn essential life skills and life role models, teaching younger generations the highly technical job of flying an airplane.

The Legacy Fundraiser event was a fundraiser and runway fashion show held on September 29th, 2023. The event was held at the Tucson International Airport, and involved a fashion show for people to enjoy/participate in, fun raffles for Wright Flight activities, and of course to learn more about the Wright Flight program. The A Team donated $5,000 in support of the Wright Flight program, and worked with Atlantic Aviation to help put on the event for the community.
